University centers “bee” campaign

The Bee Campaign is the introduction of themed branding for University Centers, playing on the bee pun, to introduce core values of “bee-ing” happy, active, social, and well, amidst the uncertainties of the pandemic.

To complement the sentiment of the message, I decided to brush up on my handwriting and typography skills, to convey a sense of personal touch towards a potentially emotionally detached campaign. The organic inconsistencies of the handwriting and animated bees bring a soft and light playfulness to the traditionally formal application of the university’s gold and blue colors. Additional typographic needs are met with Brix Sans, the font under University Centers branding guidelines.

These assets are used by the design team in new elements of University Centers branding, in digital and physical spaces, for promotional value. Work shown below designed by me, unless noted.
